Origins Out Of Trouble Mask

Masks are a lazy girl saviour to great skin. On my recent trip to bangkok I bought a tonne of sheet masks and face masks. One of them is the Origins Out of Trouble mask. It is a 10 minute rescue for troubled skin.

This mask is formulated with natural troubleshooters, including super-absorbent zinc oxide and sulfur plus calming camphor. It rapidly responds to problem skin by absorbing the excess oil and removes dead cells leaving you with clean smooth skin.  Camphor is used in alot of our ayurvedic skincare products for it’s ability to calm your skin with it’s cooling nature and reduce redness.

It has a paste consistency  and you will need to apply a thin layer in order to spread it evenly on your face.On application it did not have a tingling sensation but it definitely has a cooling sensation. TIP: Put it in the fridge for 10 -15 minutes before application for an even more cold and relaxing experience.  I leave it on for 10 to 12 mins and wash it off. I see instant results with this mask, The redness reduces and the pimples appear smaller and less painful.

If you have a sensitive nose, you might not like the smell of it. It has a typical sulphur smell which can be annoying but it does go away in 5 mins or so. I don’t mind it as long as it’s getting the work done.

I have dry skin there I use this in area where I am most prone to break outs. It does slightly dry out my skin so I always follow up with a rich & hydrating skincare routine or a hydrating sheet mask.  If you have oily skin you will love how your face feels after using this product. It leaves the face feeling squeaky clean and ready to absorb all the goodness to follow.

Do keep in mind, we all have different skin type. Just because this product works for me it doesn’t neccessarily need to work for you. So just get a sample and try it out and if it works for you…I WOULD BE GLAD 🙂
